Without my presence at the clinic, I've virtually observed a nurse keeping watch over a patient, praying and making wishes for their wellbeing every day.
By now, my nurse has gained the experience to properly administer injections without causing unnecessary discomfort to the patient, and the patient has adapted remarkably to Mars environment, what I can only describe as always ON-Survival mode.
What strikes me is how their fates have become intertwined, the nurse draws strength from the patient's resilience, just as the patient depends on the nurse's care.
They are each other's atmosphere, two souls sustaining one another, healing and being healed in turn.
